About our Lodge
The idea, the person, and the vision behind the community.
Tabletop Lodge started in a garage in Berlin, and that's where it still lives (for now!). We call that garage the Shed, and everything we make is built there. Around it, we're growing a community for the whole tabletop hobby: miniature gaming, board games, TTRPGs, TCGs, and everything in between. We make handcrafted wooden accessories for the table, and we share every step of the journey with everyone who wants to come along.
We chose the word lodge deliberately. A lodge is somewhere warm to retreat to, the kind of place where a fire's going in the corner, a table is waiting, the company is good, and nobody's in a rush to leave. That feeling is what we're building toward, in the content we make, in the things we sell, and one day in a real physical space in Berlin.

Pepe & The Shed
The person behind it all is Pepe, or Alexander Pieper. In his free time, his hands were always creating and experimenting with physical things. And after 15 years in the video game industry, he now wants to try this full-time. The same obsessive attention to detail that goes into making video games now goes into carrying cases, deck boxes, and other products that amplify the tabletop experience.
He works out of his garage (we call it the Shed) where every product is crafted one at a time, where the build-along videos are filmed, and where the Tabletop Lodge content comes to life. Don't picture a polished studio, though. It smells of wood and has far too many miniatures (mostly still gray 😢) on the shelves.
Who we're for
Everyone who's looking for a warm place to escape to, whether you bring your friends or come to find new ones. Casual hobbyists, newcomers, and veterans are all equally at home here. We especially welcome underrepresented groups like LGBTQ+ and FLINTA*, because we firmly believe creativity and community live on a rich and diverse foundation. That's what makes the hobby better for everyone.
What you won't find here are the toxic corners of the hobby, and we won't create content or products that cater to those. If you're looking for a place to complain about female Space Marines or "Kids these days destroy our lore!", this isn't it.
And to say it plainly, for once without any irony: we are anti-fascist. In times like these that shouldn't need stating on an about page, but here we are. This hobby is for everyone, and especially for the people that fascists want gone. Racists, fascists, homophobes, misogynists, basically anyone who wants to keep this hobby small and exclusive: they are being left out.
Every lodge has a door and ours stands wide open. That's why it has to stay shut on hate.
